My favorite activity in Istanbul is to relax in mosques. It’s a spiritual democratic luxury for the mind (the empty space, the abstract decorative pattenrs on the walls, the soft carpet, the voluptuous architecture, the temperature, the light…). Photo Olivier Zahm
